After Valve’s successful Atlanta Eleague Major earlier this year at the end of January, they’ve already announced the next Major tournament this year: PGL Major Kraków 2017.

It’ll begin on July 19th and end on the 23rd and like the last Major, it will have a one million dollar prize pool. Five hundred thousand going to first place, $150,000 going to second place and so on.

Who will be attending?

Well the first eight teams have been decided from the last Major. The top eight from the last Major get a free pass in, which include Astralis, Virtus.pro, Fnatic, SK Gaming, Natus Vincere, Gambit Gaming, North, and FaZe Clan. For the other eight, their entrance is decided by the outcome from a qualifier tournament, which the other eight from the last tournament are automatically eligible for.

For the Casters and Analysts we should be expecting the same. The three castin duos: Anders and Semmler, Sadokist and HenryG, and James and ddk, and the analyst’s being Richard Lewis, Thorin, and Moses.

Could PGL Major Kraków 2017 beat records from the Eleague Major? Most Likely. Kraków is in Poland, one of the most popular places for eSports. European Majors also have a track record of having more attendees than American Majors.

Until PGL Major Kraków 2017.
