Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykes is an ex-League of Legends castor for OnGameNet, co-owner of ggChronicles and previous co-owner of Renegades. He was also a previous coach for Counter Logic Gaming. Since then, MonteCristo has transitioned into an Overwatch castor for OnGameNet.

Since his time in college, MonteCristo was obsessed with League of Legends when it was in beta and founded ggChronicle as a journalism outlet for League of Legends eSports. He then accepted a full time casing position for OnGameNet and since July 24th, 2013 he began coaching for Counter Logic Gaming. MonteCristo is known to spend up to 30-40 hours of League of Legends VODs a week to prepare for castin jobs. In September of 2014 though, he stopped coaching for CLG, where Zula took his place.

For his time coaching CLG, he became know to make the players read “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu to further advance their knowledge and strategy.

As of May 9th, 2016, MonteCristo was banned for one year from holding any ownership of recognized position by Riot, due to some misconduct allegations against Renegades. These positions include coaching and team analyzing.
